![]() And it seems many people do enjoy this game.īut I can't leave a positive review because it's bothered me that much. ![]() It's not an egotistical decision, or even one I can't understand. But I'm posting this here to say that it essentially ruins the entire game for me. Without giving it away, there is a huge, fundamental issue with the plot that I seem to be in the margins of hating. I could definitely see comparisons to Undertale in theme (although this game delves far more into mature territory than Undertale does), and I played through the entire game, enjoying it for what it was.until about hour 15-16. This game is made with passion, skill, and I have a great deal of respect for the creator's hard work. Please let me know since I’ve just finished and it really does bug me. I hope you can present reasons why I’m wrong. I thought about posting this as a Steam review, but held off because it can’t change people’s minds without ruining the game for them, even if they don’t agree with it. For anyone who plays piano, I've been working on some sheet music for various songs that you can acquire free of charge. You should probably take a break or something after seeing all of this. It seems to be common enough for some people to think SUNNY intentionally killed and framed his sister's death, but it's a lot more complicated than that. Hopefully this helped clarify things somewhat. They were, after all, 12 years old when this happened - the age of an American sixth grader. ![]() You are meant to think about this revelation and are also free to forgive them over time. The end of the game is open since it doesn't matter whether the friends forgive him immediately as that cannot be expected of anyone it matters whether they forgive him over time. His mother left her 16-year-old mentally broken child alone for several days at a time with no food in the fridge and only $20.00 to spend, but she also left sticky notes around the house and suggested he visit his friends. A man chops down a tree with a noose hanging from it, saying you are not his son. This is shown most dominantly by SUNNY's father, who we see a glimpse of after falling down the hole underneath the W KEY. It is important to note that an autopsy would have certainly revealed that she didn't actually do what they set up, so their parents knew exactly what happened (or at least the significant details). SUNNY ended up completely blocking out key details from this event out of his mind and becoming a shut-in, not even going to school for four years. BASIL came up with the idea to take care of MARI's body so SUNNY wouldn't take the blame for it and, while they turned around, they saw an eye popped out staring back at them. SUNNY took her up to her room to see if she was going to wake up, but she was no longer breathing. ![]() BASIL happened to stop by as it happened and, because he couldn't comprehend the fact that SUNNY was responsible for this, he blamed it on something behind him. There are like three instances where the player is told that MARI had a bad knee (and two are optional), and SUNNY pushing her during the fight unintentionally caused her to fall down the stairs, killing her instantly. MARI argued with him about this and prevented him from going downstairs, so he pushed her out of the way. On the day of the recital, SUNNY had enough of MARI's perfectionist tendencies and missing time to hang out with his friends, so he threw his violin down the stairs. There are a few hints towards this, like how her spirit says she's pushed SUNNY too hard while practicing because she wanted it to be perfect, or how she didn't think her flower crown was that good in the real world photo album. *** Spoiler - click to reveal *** MARI is somewhat a perfectionist. ![]()
